Debbie Golos, with other Deaf educators and researchers, publishes new book on teaching strategies

Book cover for "58-IN-MIND: Multilingual Teaching Strategies for Diverse Deaf Students".

Debbie Golos, Deaf/Hard of Hearing licensure & MEd coordinator in the Department of Educational Psychology's special education program, along with other Deaf educators and researchers, has published a new book titled 58-IN-MIND: Multilingual Teaching Strategies for Diverse Deaf Students.

This book taps into the knowledge of Deaf educators/researchers and also includes contributions by Deaf illustrators. It describes and demonstrates theoretically-driven, research-based, and classroom-tested practices; many of the educators involved in the making of 58-IN-MIND will be using the text in their methods courses. The book was written with all teachers in mind, not just those in Deaf education, allowing them to find multilingual strategies that benefit all students.

Golos and the other contributors hope you all enjoy the book, which is available for preorder now!
