Seohyeon Choi selected as a Division for Research Doctoral Student Scholar

Seohyeon Choi

Seohyeon Choi, PhD candidate in the Department of Educational Psychology's special education program, has been selected as a Division for Research Doctoral Student Scholar (DRDSS) through the Council for Exceptional Children for the impressive quality of her proposal.

As a Doctoral Student Scholar, Seohyeon will be put in touch with other scholars across the United States and abroad. She will also have the opportunity to engage with scholars, such as Dr. Karen Harris, Dr. Jason Chow, and Division of Research Doctoral Student Scholars alumni. The program's inquiry question is "What makes for excellence in special education research?" To do this, the Council for Exceptional Children's Division of Research strives to help new scholars navigate the scholarly community, develop relationships, foster collaboration among colleagues, and raise the standard of special education research.

Congratulations, Seohyeon!
