Educational Psychology student wins Excellence in Teaching award, nominated for 2023 MAGS award

Vimal Rao, a dual master’s and doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology’s psychological foundations of education and quantitative methods in education programs, was selected as the winner of the Excellence in Teaching Award by the University of Minnesota. He is now progressing as the University’s nomination for the 2023 MAGS Excellence in Teaching Award competition.

Presented by the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS), the MAGS Excellence in Teaching Awards are presented to one master’s and one doctoral graduate student with teaching responsibilities during the calendar year 2022. Each award includes a citation and a $750 honorarium that will be presented at the MAGS annual meeting.
