Counselor ed alum named MN Middle School Counselor of the Year by MSCA

Jeanette Vyhanek, MA—alumni of the Department of Educational Psychology’s counselor education program (formerly counseling and student personnel psychology), now a school counselor at Anwatin Middle School in Minneapolis Public Schools—has been named Minnesota’s Middle School Counselor of the Year by the Minnesota School Counselor Association (MSCA).
In addition to her work counseling middle schoolers, Jeannette also helps train future school counselors as an internship supervisor for the counselor education program.
