Faculty spotlight on Dr. Haoran Li, assistant professor, QME
Dr. Haoran Li is an assistant professor in the quantitative methods in education program within the Department of Educational Psychology.
He has a PhD in research methodology and quantitative methods from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Li's methodological interests lie in multilevel modeling, statistical methods for single-case experimental designs, scale development and validation, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal data analysis. From a substantive perspective, he is interested in applying quantitative methods to areas such as child development, school discipline, reading fluency, and the synthesis of findings from both randomized trials and single-case experimental designs.

- EPSY 8251: Statistical Methods in Education I
- EPSY 8252 Statistical Methods in Education II
- EPSY 8266: Statistical Analysis Using Structural Equation Methods
He also plans to teach EPSY 8215: Advanced Research Methodologies in Education.
In his spare time, Dr. Li likes hiking, traveling, reading, as well as doing sports like badminton, table tennis, and archery. He also enjoys board gaming and cooking with friends.
