Dr. M.Y. Savana Bak featured in MURAJ article

Dr. M.Y. Savana Bak, assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology's special education program, was featured in a Minnesota Undergraduate Research & Academic Journal (MURAJ) article, "MURAJ: In-Focus -M.Y. Savana Bak, Special Education," by Madison Stromberg. MURAJ, which is a student-run academic journal, showcases undergraduate research. In the article, Stromberg spotlights A Lab for Autism Research (ALAB), in which Dr. Bak is the principal investigator (PI). ALAB has research interns ranging from the high school to graduate school education levels.
Stromberg, a third-year developmental psychology major at the University of Minnesota (UMN) who has a research interest in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), interviewed Dr. Bak about why she came to the UMN, her time here during the COVID-19 pandemic, ALAB's achievements in the last five years, and special education research.
