Dr. Caitlin Mills, associate professor and psychological foundations of education program coordinator in the Department of Educational Psychology, is a co-founder of and Chief Research and Impact Officer for AugmentED: Reimagining Teaching and Learning for the Age of AI. Her co-founder is Sherry Lachman, a policymaker, lawyer, and social entrepreneur.
Funded by AERDF, AugmentED seeks to transform teaching and personalize learning by bringing together expert educators, researchers, and technologists to reimagine the role of educators and the learning experiences of students for the age of AI and co-create AI-powered tools to support this transformation.
