Andrew Zieffler receives 2023-2024 Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education Award

Dr. Andrew Zieffler, teaching professor in the Department of Educational Psychology's quantitative methods in education program, has received a 2024 Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education award. Only a select group of University of Minnesota faculty members nominated by their colleges are recognized every year. Support from both the University of Minnesota Alumni Association and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost make this university award possible.

Zieffler was chosen for his contributions to graduate and professional education. Zieffler implements a student-centered active learning approach based on pedagogical and assessment research. He has developed statistics courses, curriculum, and open education resources. In addition, he also has mentored student TAs and instructors. He is now a member of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers (ADT) and will be recognized on the Scholars Walk. Read more about the award.
