Laura Paczkowski

Hello all! My name is Laura, and I am the academic advisor for the special education program. I received my master's of science in college counseling and student affairs from Minnesota State University Moorhead. During my graduate studies, I found my love for academic advising. I take a person-centered approach when working with all of my students and believe each advising experience is different and can be catered to the individual's needs. Working with students to help them find their greatest joys is why I love what I do. I am passionate about helping people find different and new experiences that will help shape their view on their professional goals.

My husband and I are from the metro area and just moved back after living in Fargo, North Dakota for the past eight years. We enjoy finding new series the watch on Netflix, spending time with family and friends, watching the Twins, and exploring new places to eat. In my free time, I love to practice yoga, paint, and looking for new plants to join my jungle!
